In much of the world, cars are bought in these colours:-

- Black

- White

- Something metallic in between.

But not always. Some march to the beat of a different and more interesting drum, like the buyer of this new model Renault Clio:

I’m doing my part.

That is a beautiful orange color. The color of mine is still the subject of some debate; though it is registered as bronze I think it is more orange . What do you think?

It actually looks more red in the bottom image!

I don’t know why but my new phone always makes it look more red when my previous one was more faithful to real life. Compare the similar lighting to these older pictures . It always looks more orange in direct sunlight though.

Really the color just changes with the light because it is a dark earthy reddish-orange with a bright bronze metallic flake. It’s rather eye catching in real life.

I’m part of the problem:

Except I bought the car used, so paint color choice was limited (I think silver is at best the third best choice for the S60), and I didn’t influence the factory color at all.
